Spring is nearly here and the khaki shacket is back.
HI ALL – are we all enjoying the snow?
If you follow me on Twitter, you’d have seen my tweets expressing my hatred of it (sorry I am the snow Grinch). I don’t think this is the first time I’ve moaned about it either (lols) – the initial blanket of snow always looks beautiful; untouched, warm when you’re looking at it from the inside, and then morning hits and you’re struggling to scrape 20cm of snow off your car and your tyres are spinning on the drive. When you eventually find the courage to reverse back onto the road, you’re backing out so slowly to avoid skidding into the car on the opposite side of the road, and then you’ve got to avoid all the pissing black ice and I’ve just not got time for it lads, I just do not.
Nuh-huh. Not for my southern hemisphere ass, no siree.
Anyway, enough negativity, let’s all hope and pray for some (relatively) warm sun and pretty blooming flowers, because I AM SO READY FOR IT. Speaking of which, despite the baltic conditions, I decided to brave the weather (pretending it’s Spring already over here, haay), and go out in just a jumper and my favourite shirt/jacket from last summer. I originally got this from Primark last year, and it was hands down one of the best purchases of 2017 – decent thickness and awesome quality. Totally worth the £15-£20 I spent on it, guys. I’m hoping they’ll be doing them again, or at least something very similar this year again too, because they’re perfect to throw over a t-shirt and jeans, and that is something you’ll be seeing a lot of over on this here blog.
So I paired it with a black jumper, black jeans and my favourite heeled boots from Forever 21; in true Tami style, very simple and effective. I wore this down in London when I saw my friends and when Megan saw me, she said, “you look so… cool.”
Thanks Megan, because we both know that normally certainly isn’t true haha!
No style snippet with this look at the moment, but I’ll get one up on my channel soon. I’ve got a new video coming on Friday and finally a little update to what I got up to this month over the weekend too. Have good Wednesday guys!
