Hello!
If you haven’t been living under a rock recently you’ll know that blush pink tones have been riding their own little wave, and I for one could not be enjoying it more. I am a HUGE fan of pink, and for someone who will normally reach for monochrome over everything else, that’s saying something!
In my opinion, I find the blush pink trend to be one of my favourite. It’s such a lovely spring shade and slots in perfectly into a neutral wardrobe. I find it goes perfectly with khaki, which as you’ll know from my post a few days ago, is another colour I am obsessed with, and of course anything black, white and grey paired with blush pink looks amazing.
Over the next coming weeks, I’ll certainly be investing in a lot more blush pink t-shirts for the summer, and leaning towards more statement pieces in this shade too, for example a gorgeous statement blazer or little heels (see below!).
In this outfit, I focused on contrasting the soft pink with the leather skirt, and continued that throughout the look with throwing my leather jacket over my shoulders to create a sort of ‘cool, yet edgy’ (pretentious or wha?) vibe. I wore these with my black Zara boots for more of a ‘lunchtime with the boyfriend/girls’ styling but for an evening look or even office wear, swapping the boots with soft pink heels would look so lovely.
