Pyjamas – Primark
It’s safe to say that 2015 has been interesting. Extreme highs and extreme lows that have seen me change in so many ways. I was lucky enough to travel to Amsterdam, Thailand and Paris, and I’m currently sat in the most beautiful little cottage in Yorkshire with my two favourite people. We finally got an Autism diagnosis for Isla, I changed job roles at work – twice and I finally managed to get my dream car (anyone who knows me, knows I’ve always wanted a Mini Cooper!).
I won’t delve into the negatives too much but the latter half of the year was difficult. Harder than I anticipated really, but I feel like things are finally back on track and I truly hope 2016 will be a seriously happy year. I hope to move out and finally have a space for us to call our own, to excel at work especially in building my confidence and knowledge, and also properly get back on the wagon with my blog and Youtube.
I feel like I’ve learnt a lot in the last year –
-If you’re not happy with something, say it. Don’t keep it in and let it fester. Talk, talk, talk.
-Things might not work out first time round but be patient, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
-Don’t let someone else’s negativity bring you down – it’s absolutely OK to cut yourself away from it.
-Don’t take people’s shit either, stand up for yourself.
-If you feel like you need a break, have one – chances are if you feel it, you need it.
-Treat yourself. It’s also absolutely OK to do that.
-You deserve the best, and only the best, in every sense of the word.
I’m so incredibly excited to see how things pan out for me next year, and I hope you all have a wonderful New Years – thank you so much for sticking with me on here, you guys. (:
