Another Saturday post- I’m currently finishing this up in bed watching Bates Motel and drifting off every so often… Thursdays eh. I’m not going to lie, getting up at half 5 to exercise makes you SLEEPEH. But I wanted to get this written up (mostly because I wanted to spend tomorrow night binge watching Bates…).
Anyway, I wanted to share with you one of my favourite quick and easy looks to throw on when I’m having a bit of a meh day.
Adam took these photos for me just as the sun was starting to set last weekend (before consuming ALL the Wagamamas, oh yes!)- I really do like these photos, the light in the background makes them look great, but I really trust my photographer to do a great job, and he always does, just look! (:
Anyway, onto the outfit – I love love love this satin-feel, champagne coloured shirt. It looks so sweet with these blue jeans, and come summer I’ll be throwing it on with my new £8 Primark denim skirt, because that will look so cute (I will of course be sharing that over here…).
As for the shoes, they are also a new addition to my ever growing collection- you know I love a knot detail, and I just couldn’t pass these up. For £8 or something absolutely ridiculous, they really do a good job of making the outfit look super casual and light. I’m pretty certain they have a good few colours, alongside other slip on loafers, so go have a little look around your local Primark for some decently priced and reliable shoes!
CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT THIS BAG FOR A SECOND THOUGH… I’ve been lusting after it for a few weeks, so I finally bit the bullet and bought it (only £19.99 too, what a bargain) – the size is perfect for me, the length of the straps makes the bag sit on my hip really nicely, and it’s got a cute black pull to ensure all my bits are safe, which I love. Let’s not forget the cute pom pom detailing, which I think is such a cute summery feature.
Also – just a side note… We have just got a drive-thru Starbucks, and I feel like I’m going to be there a LOT – so if you see photos of me with a Starbz cup in my hand… no ad, just lyk cawfee.
