Another day, another outfit post.
I wanted to touch on that actually – not a proper DMC but let’s chat shall we? SO, I love personal, lifestyle posts, but I can’t for the life of me whip one out unless I’m really feeling it – that’s it in a nutshell. I see bloggers writing some kick-ass content ALL the time; relevant, relatable and always in depth. And as much as they’re my favourite to read, I just have no interest in doing that myself.
In the past it’s felt very forced, and with writing like that, I really have to be passionate about it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely not worrying about it… anymore. For some reason I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to crack out these amazing, life changing pieces when all I have interest in is sharing with you what I love to wear and how I wear it. And that’s just fine with me, if it is with you!
If you’re looking for amazing writing, you need to get yourself over to Chloe, Hannah, Holly and Megan‘s blogs. They’re my faaavourite. Don’t get my wrong, you’ll see them over here every so often, but for now, I’m enjoying the little wave I’m riding right now.
ANYWAY – onto the outfit – a little dress that I know many bloggers are absolutely loving. A cute polka dot number from Zara, with subtle frill sleeve detail and a tie around the back to really show off your figure. I shared this in my most recent Youtube video and here it is on, finally!
Last autumn I really toyed with the idea of getting their polka dot shirt dress, if you remember me mentioning in a post, that I shared wearing the Primark alternative. I know you can probably never have too many polka dots in your wardrobe (I mean, this is definitely a rule for me when it comes to stripes, so…), but I was subconsciously being very cautious, and I am glad I waited because this one is VERY cute, and fits a lot better than the first dress.
It’s going on holiday with me, and I think I plan on wearing this in the evening for a casual dinner? Otherwise, in the colder months, I’ll be whipping out the tights (boo, BOOOOO), with my ankle boots, and leather jacket – snuggly. For now though, I am absolutely rinsing the ~meh, it’s alright~ weather and taking full advantage of no tights.
