I am so sorry about the disgusting picture quality you’re having to look at above! I completely forgot my camera in the big rush I was in to attend the event and had to use my iPhone (which I actually thought would do a good job; alas…. it evidently didnt!).
I got invited to the Motel Rocks Bloggers Evening by the lovely Selina of Motel Rocks about a week ago. I was ridiculously excited because this was my VERY first event but even though I had a few nerves, it turned out to be a lovely night!
I arrived at about 6:45 (fashionably late dahling), after being in a huge rush to find a nice skirt to wear. I eventually settled on this gorgeous cross embroidered skirt from Topshop (I’ll post about the outfit I wore soon!). I was greeted by a lovely girl at the door who took my name and I was given a yummy strawberry mojito!
I was all on my lonesome so it was a bit daunting entering a room where it seemed everyone knew each other! But I trooped on and had a gander at their gorgeous new winter collection!
As you can see from the (ahem) photos, the prints and colours are very on trend! They had sections for gorgeous sequined dresses and tops, leopard print, a very eye catching crackle print, jades, crimsons and wines; all of which I absolutely loved.
We were very fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to choose an item from the new collection for ourselves and I chose the ‘Heidi Dress’ in Crimson (which I will post about as soon as I receive it!). I noticed the beautiful fur coats afterwards and kind of wish I’d chosen one but I loved the dress, so I’m happy! 🙂
You even got the chance to have your nails done for free, with cute little bits of nail art including cupcakes, little faces and aztec prints! Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to get mine done but I enjoyed watching other girlies get pretty little prints painted on their nails!
I met some lovely girls, including the girlies in the above photo who were fab! 🙂 If ever there’s another event, I’ll definitely be hanging with them again!
Overall it was a lovely night and I’m really glad I decided to go. Everyone was really friendly and the new collection for Motel Rocks is gorgeous. I’ll definitely be shopping from them a lot more now that I’ve had a chance to see how cute their clothes really are!
Once I’ve received my GlossyBox and pretty dress I’ll make a post about it!
Hope you all have a fab weekend, I’ll be spending mine with my boyfriend and his family in Somerset!
