Whole outfit – Matalan*
I was recently contacted by Matalan to take part in a style challenge for mummy bloggers! Our task was to style an outfit in the theme of ‘heritage’, with all the items from the store…. Think tartan, dogtooth patterns, tans, deep reds, forest greens and mustards.
I wanted to keep my usual ‘girly’ dress in the outfit and when I spotted this lovely tartan one, I knew it would be perfect! I love the cut on the sleeves as well, alongside the fact that it’s a lovely thick material! When I thought of ‘heritage’, I immediately got an image of horse-riding in my head!? When I saw these boots on the shelf, I knew they were meant to be incorporated into the outfit too!
To tie it all together, I twisted this mustard shade scarf into a mock ‘snood’ and had these cute button detailed socks poking out the top of the boots as a sweet end touch! What do you think? 🙂
