HELLO AGAIN.
Long time, no speak you guys. It’s been a very, very long time. Thanks for sticking around this prolonged radio silence I’ve had over on my blog for a few months. After my birthday, I lost my mojo and although it’s still not *totally* there, I really want to start getting back into it.
Blogging was definitely something that I did for ~me~ and the last few months it’s fallen at the wayside, and now that I’ve got a snazzy little 45mm lens, that Adam surprised me with (what a good egg), I’m feeling a lot more confident about the quality of my content.
What I really miss is doing ‘everyday outfit’ style posts. You know the ones… the outfits that I wear regularly. As much as going out with a bunch of looks to shoot is fun, it feels rushed, and I never really get variation in them.
This time round, it’s a workwear outfit! Something that I’ll probably end up doing a lot more of because, naturally, it’s where I spend the majority of my time. I love making the effort and taking the time to pick cute looks for work; as I said, it’s where I spend a LOT of my time, so I’d rather make it fun!
I’ve been living in camisole tops this summer (as you’ll see in some upcoming posts) – they’re so easy to style and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I’m not really a bright colour type of gal either, but there’s something I love about this skirt. The length, the way is cinches in at the waist and most importantly, how figure hugging and flattering it is. Perfect to wear with flats (as you can see the tiny glimpse of my sliders in some of the photos!) or heels for work. What’s great is that it’s not an overly orange shade, so works perfectly to transition into the new season – I’ve worn it with a white jumper in a post before, which you can see here!
