Hello!
Long time, no speak guys. The last couple of weeks have been super hectic, I’ve not had a moment to chill and have some time to sit down and actually blog in forever. Isla is well and truly in the threenager stage at the moment and the stropping is just inSANE, it’s tiring but I was expecting this so it’s not too much… she says.
Adam and I are still saving up for our own home, and although it’s proving slow now due to having to buy a new car (MONA THE MINI) and our holiday, the time we put into it all will be so worth it. And speaking of holiday, the countdown is now well and truly on… 6 days and counting until we board our flight to beautiful Thailand!
Today has been a strange one- we’ve been up since the early 5’s, with me settling down with Before I Go To Sleep (really gripping, I recommend it) and Isla with Mickey Mouse, we had a pretty chilled Bank Holiday Monday morning. We had a food shop and little bits needed to be tied up for Thailand, so I wanted a chilled outfit that looked like I didn’t make too much effort.
Jumper – ASOS | Jeans – Topshop | Trainers – Nike | Bag – H&M | Necklace – Vivienne Westwood | Lipstick in ‘Opera’ – MAC
I got this gorgeous jumper just before we went to Amsterdam- I love the V-neck cut of it as it’s so flattering and it’s just the perfect amount of slouch. I’ve had these jeans since last summer, but I’ve always been so afraid of venturing out in white jeans for obvious reasons, but hey… I did it; yolo ‘n all.
Normally, I’d had my KG tote with me, but with little errands needing doing and a toddler in my hand, I just slung my trusty little H&M shoulder bag on purely for easiness. I won’t lie… these Nikes are normally the ones I wear to the gym, but they are so freaking comfortable, I couldn’t not wear them today, and they just seemed to totally finish the outfit off.
Side note; if you don’t follow my Instagram, you will have missed my hair change! I wanted something a little lighter for summer and opted for a balayage-esque look… What do you think? I am now super tempted to do something a little more drastic…!
What do you think to the outfit? I think if you’re wanting to go for a more smart-casj look, sling on a pair of camel/black heeled boots; perfect.
