WELL WELL WELL.
We haven’t been here for a while have we? I don’t know what’s happening but I’ve had a blog itch that I’ve needed to scratch so, well, I’m scratching it. Now that makes it sound like I’m going to be popping off again, and I’m hoping that that isn’t the case but after 7 years of doing this, I’ve learnt that you really do fall in and out of love with this platform and I truly believe that after a little dip from all ends, having your very own platform to voice your opinions is coming back.
I’ve always felt that this blog has been somewhere to share the looks that I really enjoy to style and wear. I personally love in depth pieces of content to read from other creators but my brain is too busy thinking about everything else in my life, to sit down and come out with a load of words about something inspirational or thought provoking. Credit to you if you’re talented enough to do that, because I truly envy you!
So, as before, here is what I wore this weekend.
One of my best friends, Megan (who also shot these) popped back home for the weekend, so I spent the day with her in Stamford, browsing the shops and drinking lattes and tea. The weather turned right before we shot these and I had to head home with a curly head of hair, so that’s going to need sorting tomorrow.
I’ve been collecting a few bits and pieces for Autumn/Winter over the last few weeks and I’m at a point now in my wardrobe where I think I’m quite happy with how it looks. Of course, in this particular look it’s the leopard print jumper and khaki long line coat that personally stand out for me. The latter is from last season and an Ebay find (I believe last year, Topshop were selling them for around £85-£90?) at just £37 and is now a firm favourite. I am always on the look out for a military style, double breasted coat, purely because it’s just what I feel comfortable in and it’s a lot more of a laid back look here styled with my favourite pair of Gucci inspired trainers, rather than a rigid night time or a smart work wear outfit (which I’m sure I’ll share some other time, since I spent most days in them).
What do we think?
